Adds New Dishes and Cocktails to Menu as 10th Anniversary Approaches


LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Feb. 19, 2015)– New menu items featuring fresh twists on authentic Irish cuisine are debuting just in time for the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival March 13-17 at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant in Downtown Disney. The restaurant will celebrate its 10th anniversary in October 2015.

The Raglan Road kitchen, with Master Chef Kevin Dundon and Chef Heberto Segura, are now featuring new dishes for lunch, dinner and the Rollicking Raglan Weekend Brunch. A new cocktail menu offers guests plenty of refreshing libations with organic ingredients.

Each Saturday and Sunday, brunch guests will be greeted with a complimentary sampling size of the new Suave Smoothie, a house-made seasonal fruit smoothie with honey yogurt and vanilla.  The brunch menu offers three tasty new dishes:  Ellis Isle Steak ‘n Eggs, a grilled New York strip steak with breakfast roasties and battered poached eggs; Pork Hash Tagged, braised pork belly, scallions and potato hash topped with fried eggs; and Smoked Salmon Potato Cakes, sliced, smoked salmon serve with potato pancakes, crème fraiche and caper dill vinaigrette.  A chef-featured Champion Cheese assortment of farmhouse cheeses completes the savory brunch additions. New brunch beverages include the Strawberry Fields Mimosa and the Grapefruit & T, Raglan Road’s version of the classic gin and tonic with crushed grapefruit.

Lunch, dinner and brunch menus are debuting Harry’s Beef Carpaccio, seared tenderloin with watercress and romaine hearts, grape tomatoes, shaved parmesan and a creamy anchovy vinaigrette.

For dinner, chefs have created the sublime Cod Cornucopia, pan-roasted fresh cod served with a warm potato salad and a chorizo vinaigrette; hearty Proud Pork grilled chop with colcannon potatoes, cider port jus and applesauce; and feast-worthy Double Joint cowboy-cut bone-in ribeye steak served tableside with duck fat chips, roasted veggies and salad of greens, sauce béarnaise and red wine jus.

New specialty libations featuring organic ingredients include the Irish Honey Cup, Teelings Whiskey Punch, Ginger Mojito, Blueberry Mint Lemonade, Smoking Margarita, Raspy Old Fashioned, Our Whiskey Sour, A Bitta Hop On (Gin, Guinness glaze, orange bitters, and Hopsecutioner IPA), and The Cure: Kettle One Vodka, house-made San Lorenzo tomato, horseradish, celery and balsamic bloody Mary mix with a salted bacon rim.

Raglan Road features inventive cuisine by Irish celebrity chef Kevin Dundon, host of the TASTE Award-winning PBS and Create TV cooking show, “Kevin Dundon’s Modern Irish Food.”  The second season of Dundon’s TV series, “Kevin Dundon’s Back to Basics,” will premiere nationally March 13 on public television’s Create TV.  The network also will air a Kevin Dundon marathon of select episodes of “Back to Basics” and Dundon’s first season episodes of “Modern Irish Food” March 14 and 15 leading into St. Patrick’s Day.
